Dance After Dark is a space to let go, move freely, and escape the stresses of everyday life. Do you love to dance but never seem to get the chance anymore? Or feel like going out dancing means dressing up, wearing heels, and worrying about how you look?Dance After Dark is different. In a darkened room with uplifting music, you can wear what you want and dance like nobody’s watching, no pressure, no judgement, just pure fun and freedom.Every dance track is different, from hip hop and Latino beats to 80’s dance classics, giving you the chance to move to all types of music and simply enjoy yourself.Whether you’re looking for a mood boost, a fun workout, or a way to switch off from the outside world, Dance After Dark is all about feeling good and losing yourself in the music.How it works:- Book your class
- Come to Botany Public School: Wednesday 6.30-7.15pm
- Enter and park via carpark on Botany Road
- Wear whatever you are comfortable in and bring a water bottle
- Find your spot in the hall and let your eyes adjust
- Dance like nobody is watching!
About me
Hi, I’m Gina Connew, a Botany local and mum to two daughters aged 12 and 9. I’ve loved music and movement since I was young, and there’s nothing better than switching off and enjoying the energy of a great song.I always leave feeling uplifted, recharged, and happier. It’s an opportunity to move freely, clear your mind, and do something purely for yourself.I wanted to bring Dance After Dark to the Botany community because we have such a special community here, and I truly believe we could all benefit from a little more fun, connection, and freedom in our week.I can’t wait to welcome you and share the experience with you soon.

Classes are held every Wednesday night from 6:30pm–7:15pm at:Botany Public School Hall
1076 Botany Road, Botany, SydneyFree parking is available in the car park next to the school, with the gate open for easy access. If you’re parking on the street or walking in, please enter via the car park entrance. The hall is located right beside the car park.Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in and find your spot in the hall before the class begins.Class numbers are capped at 40 people to keep the space comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.If you have any questions, feel free to fill out the contact form below or if you have any trouble finding it on the night call Gina 0424002167.
